SOCIAL COMMITTEE
Over the years many Lakeside Plaza residents have been active in the Social Committee. They have contributed to the community by sponsoring social activities. Among the activities are:
Weekly Sunday Morning Coffee in the Community Room where residents can meet one another
Monthly dinner club visiting local restaurants
Bi-monthly Movie Night & Sporting Events on big screen tvSpecial "theme" or "pot-luck" dinners
Fall Tour of Homes
Ice Cream Socials
Holiday events - Thanksgiving Dinner, New Years Eve Party
Dances
Pancake Breakfasts
Bi-annual yard sales
Children's events

In addition, the Social Committee has assisted in raising funds to add such amenities to the community as a large screen TV for the Community Room, refurbishing the Community Room, and developing and equipping an adjoining game room with a ping pong table, pool table and video games. The Social Committee also is responsible for the monthly publication of the Lakeside Plaza Newsletter.
Activities are open to all residents for either a small fee or donation, depending on the event.
